  1. My honest opinion about this book is I like it. However I don't like it in some parts too. How people get beaten if they don't follow the rules isn't that a little to harsh. Also how women are not aloud outside without their husbands and there not even aloud in stores. I honestly think men and women should be treated equally. However as I said I do like this book because it sounds so real for an example they don't have, flying dog or cats, vampires, ect...

  2. @ Rosalie - Try to write in a less conversational style and make sure you are writing in full and complete sentences. I like your honest opinion that men and women should be treated as equals.

  3. My honest opinion about The Breadwinner is I love it. It is very gripping and I always wanted to read the next chapter and then the next and the next. However, I did not like that human beings got brutally punished for not doing anything at all, or just doing something very, very minor. In addition to that comment, women are not allowed to go outside without an escort by a male. That is just wrong, female and males are all equal. But, I liked it because Paravana is always doing something that could get her in real trouble, for example, she has to risk getting caught by the taliban just to bring home money for her family. All in all, I really enjoy this book. :)

  4. In my opinion i liked the book a lot. However i didn't like the part where they were in the soccer arena & the soldiers were cutting off hands of prisoners but the book didn't really say much about it afterwards & there was no purpose of the lady in the window. A part that i liked about the book is that Paravana's dad got out of jail, & the part where Paravana started up her fathers business while he was in jail. At the end of the book the author left the reader hanging, so my imagination can finish the end off the book for me. & finally i liked how Paravana's friend got her dream of going away.
