Assignment #1

1.) Write a prediction about what you think your novel will be about.  Include enough information in your response to describe the 5 W's (Where, what, when, why , who, and also how).  Double check what you have written to make sure you have included everything that is required.  Be as creative as you would like to be with your prediction.  Remember, it does not matter if your prediction isn't actually what the novel is about.  The idea of writing a prediction is to get your ideas flowing!  The minimum number of sentences for this assignment is 6.  Don't forget, you must write in full and complete sentences! :)  Have fun!

2.) Respond to at least one response.

  2. @ Zara - Can you please expand a little more on your ideas? Explain what you think will actually happen in the story and try to be a little more specific as your prediction is a little too general.

  3. My prediction for The Breadwinner is, about a little girl who has to hide, because she gets very treated badly by other people where she lives. I also think she is poor and has to work for money as well, judging from the cover of this book.

  5. @ Rosalie - Why do you think she is poor and has to work for money? Give more supporting details as to what you think will actually happen in the novel. Remember, I am not concerned if your prediction is correct. I simply want to see if you can generate ideas as to what you think will happen in the novel.

I really liked you prediction. It has alot of detail, but next time don't use the word "and" so much.
