Imagine you are the main character in the novel. Describe the setting and your surroundings given what you know about the story. Be as descriptive as possible (use lots of adjectives when appropriate) and use transition words.
I live in Afghanistan with my mother, my father, my two sisters, and my one brother. My house is a very dull, blank apartment, with one small window the size of a textbook, that only lets in one stream of sunlight. The market is very, very crouded but, I have gotten used to all the noise, and being shoved accidentally and on purpose. My father's little booth has a faded red blanket on the ground that I sit on, and a little table that my father does buisness on.
My name is Paravana & i am 11 years old. I live in a bad part of Afghanistan & i am treated poorly because i am a girl. I live in a one room apartment on the third floor with only one small window. The floor & walls are cement that are hard & uncomfortable to sleep on. I live in this one room with my mother & father, my two sister & baby brother. My father work's in the market selling few objects but he makes most of his money reading & writing notes for the people in Afghanistan, which is mostly all of them. My father & mother went to school in england & that is where they met but even though my mother is well educated she stays at home because before i was born the worst of the war was going on, this dreary place was beautiful & wealthy, then bombs dropped & soilders invaded. The soilders are the taliban who took over Afghanistan making it horrible, violent, but mostly of all terribly unfair. So instead of my mother writing in magazines, she does house-work all day with my older sister Nooria. Nooria is a VERY mean sister. She is the Queen of doing what ever she can to make me jealous & i am sure mother favorites her over me, for example when ever we fight mother always takes her side, always! But i have father, but he takes no sides.
I live in Afghanistan with my family in a small house theres only 4 walls that surrounding us yet there's six of us, my mother and my father, two sisters and my baby brother. My name is Paravana and I am 11 years old. I have to work with my father selling stuff from our house to manage food for our family. I have to fetch water everyday. I get treated very poorly because I am a girl. I cannot attend school anymore since the solider's came and made new rules that isn't fair. However they also took my father away so I myself have to dress up as a boy and work to feed my family and myself.
